My face is burning

I went to see an aesthetician on Saturday whom gave me a facial and removed many gigantic blackheads (mostly on my chin) all over. She didn’t get everything since they were still pretty deep but by that time I was already in too much pain. I was given a vitamin c deep cleanser and a toner to use 2x a day. Now here’s where it all begins…

After the first use my face was ok, just a feeling of tightness since I wasn’t allowed to use moisturizer. I had to use a fan when I applied the toner until it was dry. The second time, my face started burning. The area around my mouth started peeling and my face was super red. It felt like the toner was melting my skin and I wanted to cry so badly!

This morning I used it again and my face was peeling even worse so I tried to remove them before I applied the toner. Bad idea. My face burned even more and now I can’t even open my mouth wide enough without feeling like I’m stretching my skin to the extreme that I’ll rip it. I asked my aesthetician and this was normal but to stop my regimen for 3 days to let it all peel. And that I wasn’t supposed to eat seafood.

Oops. I went to the buffet yesterday for Father’s Day and chowed down massive amounts of coconut shrimp and sushi.

I have a sudden urge to read Metamorphosis now. I’m stuck in my room until this subsides.
